February is the most romantic month of all, so why not treat yourselves to the brand spanking new Gee Jays Show – Love Shack which will run at Rhumbelow Theatre Durban from February 26 to 28?
Featuring 38 songs that were inspired by LOVE packed into a two-act show. The Gee Jays present hits from The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers, Sheryl Crow, The Bee Gees, Smokie, Michael Bublé, Queen, Lionel Ritchie, Nat King Cole and many more. There is a guest appearance from several of the original members of the Chippendales which is bound to set the hearts racing.
The Gee Jays – John Didlick, Marion Loudon and Grant Bell - are Durban’s longest-running cabaret group and are renowned for their good harmonies and wacky humour.
Love Shack shows take place on Friday and Saturday (February 26 and 27) at 20h00 with Sunday (February 28) show starting at 14h00. (Venue opens 60 minutes before show for snacks/drinks)
“Whilst we are not changing our 2020 pricing, we would ask that if you are able to please assist us and the performers by donating a higher ticket price,” says Rhumbelow Theatre’s director, Roland Stansell.
Tickets R160 and must be pre-booked. No walk-ins allowed. 75 people max per show (50% capacity)
All seating will be at separate tables and the theatre management will obviously be seating co-habiting couples and/or family members.
Rhumbelow Theatre is situated at 42 Cunningham Road off Bartle Road, Durban. Limited secure parking is available and there is a cash bar (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Bring food picnic baskets or buy from Kevin.
