Enjoy a relaxing and casual afternoon of easy listening music with Dawn Selby and Trevor Donjeany performed in a non-show format at Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban with Valentine Vibes on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021.

Expect to hear a wide variety of music including a selection of Donjeany's original compositions.

Windows and doors will remain open for you to have access to the bar and restrooms throughout the afternoon.

Dawn Selby is a professional composer, arranger, songwriter, performer, teacher, published author and musical director with over 40 years’ experience. She studied classical piano with the renowned pianist Moira Birks. Selby has arranged and performed with various choirs and orchestras both locally and overseas. She has been involved in many corporate and theatrical productions, as both Music Director and performer. She regularly performs with her band, The Reals, for supper theatre productions and corporate / private functions. She has her own recording studio for private and corporate recordings.

Trevor Donjeany is one of South Africa's top bassists and is also a songwriter, producer and vocalist. He has worked with most of South Africa's stars and has a career that spans 40 years. He was Johnny Clegg's bassist and backing vocalist from 2007 until 2019. He is currently finishing his albums for release by April 2021. The Reals are privileged to have Donjeany as their bassist.

Valentine Vibes has one performance on February 14, at 14h00. (Venue opens 90 minutes before show for snacks/drinks)

“Whilst we are not changing our 2020 pricing, we would ask that if you are able to please assist us and the performers by donating a higher ticket price,” says Roland Stansell, the owner of the Rhumbelow chain. “All seating will be at separate tables and we will obviously be seating co-habiting couples and/or family members together. With the current Covid levels we will be limiting capacity to 50 people max.”

Tickets R160 - no other discounts for this show. Bring food picnic baskets or buy from Kevin. A full bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises).
