SCANDRAGILOUS AFFAIR BACK AT ALTITUDE

It’s time to safely get away from your Covid frustration and join OnStage@Altitude for a fabulous fun filled Easter Extravaganza, A Scandragilous Affair.

The show is compiled by the cast and has performances on April 1 and 2, 2021, at 19h30.

The 70-minute Drag Show Cabaret, which had a successful run in February, is full of fun and risky humour through a variety of characters from Gizzy Gargle to Mad Donna and many more. Featuring magic maker Darren King, cabaret darling Marion Loudon, the ever-so-popular Brian Hiles and Altitude owner Thomie Holtzhausen, as well as new cast members Kirsty Ndawo and Mpilo (Straw) Nzimande, the show promises a fun classy act with lots of laughter.

Caroline Smart’s review for artSMart praised the show: “Apart from the fun and frolic, each performer has a chance to showcase their considerable performance talents. While the show can certainly get a bit raunchy and suggestive, it’s always done in the spirit of humour and is never offensive.”

Come alone with your loved one or a large group. Strict health protocols are in place and numbers are limited to 50 people per show. Tables can be booked per seating of 2, 4 or 8. Book early to avoid disappointment. Doors open an hour before curtain up and guests are welcome to bring a plate of snacks.

Performances will be limited to 50 audience members in line with Covid regulations, and the venue is sanitised before and after each performance. The show can also be booked for corporate events, with the same maximum seating capacity.

Onstage@Altitude is at 25 Silver Avenue, Greyville, and has ample safe street parking with security guards on duty.
