Plus, stand the chance to win R3,000 on the first-ever on-air Easter Egg Hunt. Viewers simply need to keep an eye on their TV screens for the special competition code in the form of a TRACE Easter egg – spot it, enter it on the TRACE website and you could be the lucky winner!

From April 1 to 5, a new dedicated Easter pop-up channel called HOPE (DStv channel 346) will serve up inspiring worship sessions, messages from big names and quality kids’ programmes. Pastor Jon Courson, American author and speaker Joyce Meyer, and Ghanian theologian Dr Mensa Otabil will all make an appearance while further services and music, as well as live broadcasts from across South Africa, will air from April 2 at 08h00 on Urban Brew.

TBN Africa (DStv channel 343) brings together a full Easter weekend line-up, starting with Easter Conference with Bert Pretorius, airing at 18:00 on Wednesday, 31 March, Thursday, 1 April and Friday, 2 April. Explore different faiths across the world in the six-part series Praise: State of Faith on Thursday, 1 April at 20:30 and go on an unforgettable journey to discover the wonder behind the greatest miracle of all time in No Wonder They Call Him the Saviour on Friday, 2 April at 12:00, before tuning in to the story of Mary Magdalene in Magdalena at 14:30. On Easter Sunday, April 4 on M-Net Movies 1 (DStv channel 104) at 22h05, honour the best in film and television performances with the 27th Screen Actors Guild Awards, better-known as the SAG Awards. This year’s show will be a very different affair to previous years. Instead of a live or even virtual awards ceremony, the entire show will be pre-recorded and only one-hour long. There’ll be no red carpet, no host and no set. So what can we expect instead? According to CNN, the famous “I Am An Actor” moments from performers will be taped and interspersed with winner announcements, comedy skits and the “In Memoriam” tribute.

Halfway around the world, the M-Net Asian Music Awards (MAMA) is one of the biggest on the K-pop calendar – and now you can relive the entire 2020 show on tVN (DStv channel 134) on Sunday, April 4 at 17h30. With more than six hours of performances and hosted by actor Song Joong-ki (of Descendants of the Sun and Vincenzo), no expenses were spared despite COVID-19 restrictions. Look out for performances by BTS, NCT, Taemin, (G)-Idle, Seventeen, Jessi, Hwasa, BoA, IZ*ONE, GOT7, Twice, Mamamoo, Stray Kids, Monsta X, TXT, Ateez and more.
