Join South African musician Rowan Stuart at the premiere of his first short film, entitled Instrumagicka, at Seabrooke's Theatre in Durban on April 30, 2021.
Based on the music of his upcoming instrumental EP of the same name, Instrumagicka - The Short Film stars talented actors Bryan Hiles, Cara Roberts and Mpilo “Straw” Nzimande, and was written, directed and filmed by Rowan. The story weaves a tale of mystery with a supernatural undertone.(Right: Mpilo “Straw” Nzimande, Image by Carryn Clicks Photography)
As the artist explains: "Instead of creating a regular music video for my upcoming EP, I decided to weave all six of the pieces into one continuous mini-movie, and now the music and the visual story have become one and the same".
This special event will include the premiere screening, followed by a live on-stage interview with the cast, and finally, a solo music performance by Rowan Stuart.
