Writer, director and drama facilitator Xola Mziwakhe will present his production Azania at Stable Theatre from May 24 to 27, 2021.
“Azania is an African story and it is an honour to reflect African stories in an African Month,” says Mziwakhe. “Bantu Africa is about a journey of hopes as he searches for his daughter that disappeared during apartheid.”

The cast features Sbusiso Sithole as Bantu Africa with Hloniphani Mthethwa as the Musician.
The presentation runs for two hours - the first hour allows patrons time to take a look at the art exhibition outside the theatre which was curated by Khulekani Mkhize as well as to enjoy the drumming from Steven Chauke and Lindokuhle Mbambo. The play itself starts an hour later. Showcase dates are:
