Hailing from the small Eastern Cape Town of Bizana, Nozuko Teto has sung her way across the oceans into international opera theatres, wowing audiences both locally and abroad with her wonderful soprano voice.

Teto has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education Degree as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Opera Performance. She was also a awarded a scholarship from the Nicolai Ghiauroy Foundation to study Belcanto Singing Technique in Modena in Italy.

She made her international debut in 2011 and has performed widely overseas and in South Africa.

She is now back, living in KwaZulu-Natal and exploring the entrepreneurial route and has started seeing herself as a brand worth selling. Her company, Adesso Enterprises (Pty) Ltd is a platform which looks to create opportunities not only for herself but for those around her as well.

Her purpose is to change lives through music performance, motivational talks and singing master classes. Part of her outreach programme is to source funding in order to take music to the townships and rural areas through mentorship programmes. Her collaboration with the Boys Ensemble, Voices of Angels, is part of this initiative.

Currently she is a Junior lecturer for Voice and Singing at the Durban University of Technology (Drama and Production Studies Department) and is also enrolled at MANCOSA for a Higher Certificate in Local Government and Development Management
