The Gee Jays have just the tonic to cure those Covid Blues: why not treat yourselves to their brand spanking new show – Love Shack which will have one performance in association with Rhumbelow Theatre on May 23 at the Northlands Bowling Club with a further performance at the Allan Wilson Shellhole in Pietermaritzburg on May 23.
Marion Loudon, John Didlick and Grant Bell are back with a vengeance in show which celebrates the positive power of Love Featuring 38 songs that were inspired by LOVE packed into a two-act show. The Gee Jays present hits from The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers, Sheryl Crow, The Bee Gees, Smokie, Michael Bublé, Queen, Lionel Ritchie, Amy Winehouse, The Eagles and many more. There is a guest appearance from several of the original members of the Chippendales which is bound to set the hearts racing.
The Gee Jays are Durban’s longest running cabaret group and are renowned for their brilliant harmonies and wacky humour. They will certainly make loving fun!
“Whilst we are not changing our 2020 pricing, we would ask that if you are able to please assist us and the performers by donating a higher ticket price,” says Rhumbelow Theatre’s director, Roland Stansell.

May 15, 2021, at 19h30 at the Northlands Bowling Club, Durban North. Tickets R160 (R130 Northlands Bowling Club Members). Bring food baskets. 50 Margaret Maytom Avenue, Durban North
May 23, 2021, at 14h00 at the Allan Wilson Shellhole at 5 Durban Road in Pietermaritzburg. Tickets R160. Bring food picnic baskets or buy from Prego Rolls from the Moths.
In both cases, the venue opens 90 minutes before show for snacks/drinks. A full bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). There is limited secure parking.
All seating will be at separate tables and the venue will obviously be seating co-habiting couples and/or family members together.
Booking is essential. With the current Covid levels, capacity is limited to 50% max.
Strict Covid protocols will be in place.
