EPWORTH HIGH SCHOOL EXHIBITION

Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your creativity in the Tatham Art Gallery.

You are invited to participate in this exciting competition, organised by Epworth High School for Girls in collaboration with the Tatham Art Gallery, where you will provide fresh insights into the wonderfully diverse selection of art works in the Tatham Art Gallery.

Epworth High School for Girls in collaboration with the Tatham Art Gallery is hosting a competition for all high school students to showcase their creativity in the Tatham Art Gallery.

All high school students are invited to participate in this exciting competition where you will be able to provide fresh insight into the wonderfully diverse selection of art works in the Tatham Art Gallery. All you are required to do is to visit the Tatham Art Gallery, where you will visit/look at/explore/ a number of pre-selected art works, and then reinterpret your chosen art works.

visit/re/visit: A competition for all high school students

All you are required to do is to visit to the Tatham Art Gallery, where you will visit/look at/explore/ a number of pre-selected art works, and then reinterpret your chosen art work/s.

How to enter:

-Visit the Tatham Art Gallery

-Collect the list of pre-selected art works from the front desk or Education Officers at the Gallery

-Find the art works in the Gallery from the pre-selected art works from the Tatham Art Gallery collection

-Select a work/s from the pre-selected art works from the Tatham Art Gallery collection that appeal to you and then…

-You are invited to revisit/ reinterpret your chosen art work/s by creating a competition entry in your own creative way

Details:

-Size A4 (29.7 x 21 cm) maximum, on any ground  and media of artist’s choice

-Cost per entry R40 (to assist with mounting costs). No limit to the number of entries

-Closing date for entries: September 30, 2021

-Each entry to be accompanied by an entry form (see reverse)

-Each entry to have name, title and contact number written on rear

-All entries to be delivered to Epworth High School Reception:  Mrs Wentzel Lawler


Entries may be submitted in groups according to school or learning environment

 -All art works submitted will be exhibited at Tatham Art Gallery

-Prize giving and exhibition opening on Sunday 5 December 2021

-Prizes sponsored by Panda Paints

-Monetary prizes for first, second and third placed entries
