BBC Studios has a selection of great new entertainment coming to your TV screens this November.
Serengeti, narrated by Black Panther star Lupita Nyong’o, returns to BBC Earth to capture the dramatic and emotional interconnected stories of iconic savannah animals. In Universe, Brian Cox takes viewers on a journey into the vastness of space, to uncover the birth of a star in a stellar nursery, experience the power of a supermassive black hole as it flings a sun across space so fast it’s still traveling 10 million years later, and reveal the chaos created as two galaxies collide.
BBC Lifestyle sees the return of the popular cooking show Masterchef where judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace put 40 of the UK’s most passionate and talented amateur cooks through their paces, as they search for one exceptional home cook worthy of being crowned MasterChef Champion 2021.
On BBC Brit, crime-drama fans can look forward to The ABC Murders as Bafta-nominated writer Sarah Phelps returns to explore the 20th Century through Christie’s work and Catherine the Great – where multi-award-winning Helen Mirren stars in a four-part drama that delves into the politically tumultuous and sexually charged court of the most powerful female monarch in history.

Bafta-nominated writer Sarah Phelps returns to explore the 20th Century through Christie’s work in this adaptation of the classic 1936 title.
It’s 1933 and a killer travels the length and breadth of Britain via the railway network. The killer uses the alias ABC, and strikes in a methodical pattern, leaving a copy of the ABC railway guide at the scene of each of murder. As Poirot attempts to investigate, he is thwarted on every front. If he is to match his most cunning nemesis, everything about him will be called into question: his authority, his integrity, his identity.
John Malkovich leads the cast as Hercule Poirot alongside Rupert Grint as Inspector Crome, Andrew Buchan as Franklin Clarke, Eamon Farren as Cust, Tara Fitzgerald as Lady Hermione Clarke, Shirley Henderson as Rose Marbury, Jack Farthing as Donald Fraser, Bronwyn James in the role of Megan and Freya Mavor as Thora Grey.
