To add to Rhumbelow Theatre’s woes with COVID and load shedding, the theatre and cast have to cancel this next live performance of Rock Guitar Legends (November 12 to 14) as Barry Thomson has done damage to his shoulder and the doctor has said rest for 10 days. (This current weekend the show had already been cancelled)

“In keeping The Rhumbelow afloat, we have to be creative to earn revenue for the theatre, band and bar,” says Roland Stansell who runs the Rhumbelow Theatre circuit.

“We will instead be screening a previous recording of the same show Rock Guitar Legends on our new big screen at 19h00 on Saturday, November 13, and at 14h00 on Sunday November 14, 2021. Price, as per our cinema screenings is R100.

“The band will be joining us as quests, so you will be able to chat and have social time with the band. We ask that you please support this initiative to help us get bar revenue, revenue for the theatre and the band.”
