Hussein Salim’s works often reveal his reverence of women and he celebrates their achievements in many of his paintings.
These two new ones at the Elizabeth Gordon Gallery featuring groups of women brings to mind a North African incarnation of Chagall - with paintings filled with magic, mystery, melancholy and majesty.
