Rhumbelow Theatre will feature The Rocky Horror Picture Show in its Cinema Classics programme from February 11 to 13. Public Screening licensed through MPLC (Motion Picture Licensing Company).

For almost 50 years, the cult classic musical film, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, has thrilled audiences around the globe. Still as irresistibly fun and fresh as always, the phenomenon is still going strong. Join the other fans at Rhumbelow with an audience participation screening (the best, if not only way to experience the movie!)

Join two crazy local Durban actors as they guide you through all the moves for this Cinema party.

The rousing party atmosphere of this gem will light up the Rhumbelow Theatre, the audience is encouraged to arrive dressed as any of the Rocky Horror characters, or anything wild, exotic, crazy. Prizes for best dressed. Party packs on the table

Screenings take place on February 11 and 12 at 19h00 and on February 13 at 14h00. (Venue opens 90 minutes before show for snacks/drinks).

Rhumbelow Theatre is situated at 42 Cunningham Road off Bartle Road in Umbilo, Durban.


Rhumbelow will screen “Shock Treatment” on February 15. This 1981 American musical comedy film directed by Jim Sharman, and co-written by Sharman and Richard O'Brien is a follow-up to the 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”.
