International recording saxophonist Andrew Young is back and ready to wow the audience at Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban again with shows on March 12 and 13, 2022.
Europe’s most successful saxophonist, Andrew Young, will once again bring his own blend of smooth jazz, blues, pop, and rock to the Rhumbelow. His new show, Yester-me, Yester-you, Yesterday, is a collaboration with his long-standing friend, multi-instrumentalist, Paul Williams.
The show is a nostalgic look at the Motown era of the 1970s, revisiting one of the most flourishing times of modern-day music. Highlighting Stevie Wonder’s best-selling and critically acclaimed album, Songs In The Key Of Life, also featuring many of his other hits such as Superstition, Sunshine of my Life and Master Blaster.
Young’s ability to bring something new and fresh to every performance has created a following of fans eager to see his concerts and shows with performances sold out year after year.
From the east coast of South Africa, Paul Williams has shared the stage with a myriad of local, national and international recording artists and ministries, encompassing a colourful blend of music genres and ethnic expressions.
