The well-known gathering, the Fort Nottingham Highland Games, will take place on September 10, 2022, at the Fort Nottingham Museum as part of the Highland Gathering.
The Fort Nottingham Highland Games will cater for a day of heritage, fun and history as found at a typical Highland Gathering.
The Highland Gathering will feature prominently as the main attraction with Celtic dancing and athletic events such as Tossing the Caber, Tug-o’-war, Kilted mile, Weight over the bar and the swirl of kilts and the skirl of the Pipes, to stir the Scot in each of the spectators.
Patrons are guaranteed a truly memorable spectacle, one that mixes grace and elegance with brute strength and stamina.
A concentration of Midlands-based merchandise, food and beverage stalls, children’s activities (animal farm, face painting and jumping castle) will provide for a full day, activities for the entire family as either spectator or participant.
