The 16th South African Film and Television Awards are here. Tune in to Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) on September 3 at 19h30 to see which of the industry’s favourites walk away with awards voted for by their fans.

Bruce Willis stars as an ex-cop who has to fight for his freedom and his life in Apex (3 September, 22h30, M-Net). This action-packed film is all about the lengths a man will go to, to survive.

The stakes are high and it’s a laugh a minute on I Love that For You, a comedy drama that takes a look at the dark side of dreams and ambitions in the television industry. Season 1 comes to 1Magic (DStv Channel 103) on September 5 at 20h30.

Youngsters can learn a little bit of world history in an exciting way with Princess Cleopatra in Cleopatra in Space (September 5, 16h50, Dreamworks, DStv Channel 304). With a group of wise mentors and some fun fellow space travellers by her side, Princess Cleopatra is ready to take on the world!
