The next Mondays @ Six at St Clements programme will take place on December 5, 2022, at 18h00.
Pieter Scholtz, Rick Andrew and friends invite patrons to a special evening of celebration and surprise. They describe it as “a Frothy and 'Big D' celebration”.
“We will sing and toast and celebrate Graham “Frothy” Linscott’s 80th birthday. Anyone who still reads The Mercury will know Graham aka The Idler continues to write about St Clements “happenings”. He’s been “idling” away on the paper for 17 or 18 years. These days he drives down from an Amber in Howick each month to be here at St Clements with us.
“We also, quite separate from "Big G", have a surprise special guest in attendance. "Big D" is an international star, a great wrapper with a world-wide following of fans spanning the generations.
“So come celebrate a potpourri evening. As always, expect some music, some drama, some song. Some dance too, of course. If you want to dance, nobody is going to stop you. See you on the 5th!”
When the donations box is passed around, a minimum of R50 per person is suggested. Indoors or out, weather-dependent.
