Deadline: April 30, 2023
Apply to the Mentorship Award Cultural & Artistic Responses to Environmental Change by the Prince Claus Fund & Goethe-Institut.
Are you an artist or cultural practitioner working at the intersection of arts and the environment, envisioning alternative, community-based models of climate justice for our planet? Then you should apply for the Mentorship Award Cultural and Artistic Responses to Environmental Change!
It’s undeniable: we need the arts and culture to challenge our perceptions about the natural world and encourage communal action by introducing intersectional perspectives for a better future for our environment. Apply to this year-long mentorship and join 12 artists and cultural practitioners (with ± 8-15 years of relevant professional experience) alongside four mentors, all working across a range of disciplines, accelerating engaged cultural practices and fostering leadership.
In order to stimulate conversation and collaboration within the cohort, and to support each artist in their own individual practice, the programme includes different types of interaction such as workshops, guest-talks and peer-to-peer sessions. Over the year, we will provide the 12 selected individuals with the time, space, and mentorship to jointly delve deeper into their practices and develop their works.
