HOPE FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

 The exhibition Hope For A Better Tomorrow opened in the KZNSA Park Gallery on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, and showcases woodcut prints produced by graduate interns based at Ubuciko Creations in Amaoti, Inanda.

The exhibition runs until April 30, 2023.

Ubuciko Creations is an independent visual arts organisation founded by multidisciplinary artist Major Ndlovu. Based in Amaoti, Inanda in KwaZulu-Natal, the organization aims to work alongside creatives to provide better access to opportunities for talented youth, women and people living with disabilities in rural areas of KZN.

 

About the PESP3 Work Based Experience Programme

The PESP3 Work Based Experience (WBE) programme is co-ordinated by the ArtBank of South Africa and supported by the National Museum and the Department of Sports, Art and Culture. The programme is designed to create employment for graduates within the creative sector, offering participants the opportunity to learn new skills ranging from arts administration, project management and marketing to technical skills like drawing or printmaking.
