Art lovers are invited to attend the exhibition opening of Studio Ping-Pong, a duo exhibition at the KZNSA Gallery by Georgina Gratrix and Cameron Platter, on August 1, 2023, from 17h30 for 18h00.
Studio Ping-Pong is an exhibition showcasing the collaborative efforts of Georgina Gratrix and Cameron Platter, taking place in Platter's studio during the World Ping-Pong Championship in Durban in May 2023. The exhibition highlights the exchange of ideas between the artists, highlighting their unique styles and the collaborative process. The show features multi-media works, including ceramics and painting, showcasing the playfulness of each artist's approach to subject and form. The colourful interiors in the paintings create an alternate universe beyond the canvas, while the studio space's process-driven dialogue can be heard in the echoes between painting and sculpture.
The exhibition closes on September 12, 2023.
