The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music
proudly presents the Vocal Showcase on Wednesday August 23, 2023.
The Vocal Showcase will feature singers from the Popular Music, Opera, Jazz and African Music & Dance programmes at UKZN. The pop ensemble will be doing two songs: Ndiredi by Simphiwe Dana (Rearrangement) and Umthandazo by Sbu Mash Mashiloane. Magugu Duma (Vadoro pupille saete) by G Handel, Simikahle Phakathi (Bella siccome un angelo) by G Donizetti, Yenziwe Zulu (Ah Je ris de me voir si belle) by C Gounod, Yenziwe Zulu, Magugu Duma, Nonkanyiso Khumalo, Simikahle Phakathi and Gift Mncwabe. (Quintet, Di scrivermi ogni giorno) by W Mozart.
The Vocal Showcase will take place on August 23, 2023. Doors open 17h00. Show starts 17h30.
