Linda Vargas explains: “I was invited to perform for the Spanish embassy in Harare and seven of us are going up to perform for the ambassador next week. I decided to bring Ramon out from Spain, hence only one performance in Durban before he returns.
“The show will be my farewell as five years of no dancing has taken its toll, but Ramon is magnificent and the show will be about handing the legacy over to the next generation. It will be an emotional evening for me surrounded by loved ones and all the magnificent people who have supported my journey for 40 years.”
She adds:
“I’m not retiring, simply handing over the legacy to my son who is simply
magnificent. I will simply be in the background.”
