The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music proudly presents The Exchange led by Ernest Dawkins (USA)

The Exchange is another project in the ongoing cultural exchange between the US and South Africa. Ernest Dawkins (Live the Sprit Residency). These projects are to foster artistic growth, and promote cross-cultural understanding, to create lasting bonds between musicians from Africa and the African Diaspora.
His line-up includes poet Khari B Disco; Ryan Nyther trumpet; Frank Morrison drums; Ernest Dawkins on percussion; Neil Gonsalves on piano and Thuto Motsemme on bass.
The Exchange takes place on October 11, 2023. Doors open at 17h00. Music starts at 17h30.
