Rhumbelow Theatre is running a film club offering a wide range of movies.
Due now: A once-off subscription of R300 per person for January to June, 2024, will allow you entrance to all their movies. (The very occasional special is extra).
Roland Stansell, who runs the theatre, says: "Join the Rhumbelow film lovers regular get-together! With cinemas either closing or becoming really expensive, and Netflix becoming very stay-at-home-predictable, enjoy the notion of an old-fashioned movie night out with friends … with a drink in your hand (which is not an over-iced and over- priced coca-cola. In fact, it can be an adult beverage – at club prices) and affordable snacks (other than popcorn)…"
Roland Stansell and the Rhumbelow team have curated a careful mix of classics, art-house titles, unusual finds, crowd-pleasers and pure nostalgia. Most have one screening.
The Rhumbelow Theatre offers regular movies on their excellent big screen, run as a club. Book a table and bring friends or come solo and meet fellow film buffs.
Food is available at the venue. There is a bar (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises)
