THE 75TH EMMY AWARDS TO BROADCAST LIVE ON M-NET

 


This Tuesday, January 16, viewers can make a date with M-Net (DStv Channel 101) as the Channel rolls out the red carpet for the most prestigious award ceremony of the year – the 75th Emmy Awards.

M-Net will exclusively bring viewers all the glitz and glam with a live broadcast at 03h00, followed by a second broadcast during prime time at 22h00 that same day.

The 75th anniversary of the ceremony will be hosted by American actor and comedian Anthony Anderson (Black-ish, Law & Order) and promises to be a star-studded night of celebration for industry greats.

 

Among the nominees are:

Succession (available for binge on DStv Catch Up, DStv Stream and Showmax) leading the pack with 27 nominations

The Last of Us (available for binge on DStv Catch Up, DStv Stream and Showmax) is the first live-action video game adaptation to be nominated, with a total of five nominations

House of the Dragon (season 2 coming to M-Net later this year) for Outstanding Drama Series with a total of 8 nominations

Survivor (Season 45 coming to M-Net this February) for Outstanding Reality Competition

 

Viewers can also look forward to their favourite international stars presenting awards on the evening, with the likes of Jason Bateman, Stephen Colbert, Dame Joan Collins, Jodie Foster, Jon Hamm and Pedro Pascal being among the stars announced to take the stage at the milestone 75th Emmy Awards.

The 75th Emmy Awards will be available on DStv Premium on M-Net (Channel 101) on Tuesday, January 16 at 03h00 and again at 22h00, as well as live-streamed on DStv Stream, and is also available on DStv Catch Up after broadcast.
