KZNSA is the proud host of the closing ceremony for the Centre for Creative Arts' ArtFluence Festival.
Curated by Dr Michelle Stewart from Digital Arts at UKZN, this event will include large scale digital projections by Digital Arts post graduate students, interactive multi - media performances, an exhibition and music.
The ceremony is in association with the Royal Academy of Art in Antwerp and will be coordinated by Digital Arts MA student Bhavna Pather featuring a 30 metre art work by PhD student Rory Klopper.
A multi-media performance by UKZN African Jazz Centre band features local artists and Belgian poet Philip Meersman. Drama Studies lecturers Tamantha Hammerschlag, Nomcebisi Moyikwa, and Pumelela Nqelenga will give a live performance integrated with a digital projection. The event also includes the exhibition Undying Faces by Stewart.
The Café will be open for food and beverages.
