The South Jersey Pom-Poms
will be performing on August 31, 2024, at 14h30 at the Old Mushroom Farm in Howick.
The South Jersey Pom-Poms are a Durban band, renowned for their gypsy recklessness, their soft lullabies, their wry social comments and unabashed penchant for Tequila.
Though difficult to box into a genre, their influences include Klezmer, Americana, Cabaret and Folk and an afternoon with them promises to be something a little off-kilter and joyful! Band members are Jochen Zeller (guitar and vocals), Sean Stewart (bass), Belinda Henwood (accordion and vocals) and Anton Cawthorn-Blazeby (violin).
