This year, the 48 Hour Film Project is making history with over 100 Short films made in one weekend, are you up for the challenge?
The 48 Hour film project is an International short film project whereby filmmakers make a short film in 1 weekend.
Rules:
*Write, Shoot, Edit & upload your short film in 48
Hours!
*You get 2 genres (choose between 1 of them or use both)
*All teams get three elements they have to use in their
film: a Character, a line of dialogue, and a prop (& that’s how we know
that the Film was made during the designated weekend)
*Films are 5 - 7 minutes long
When:
September 27 – 29, 2024
Where:
*We meet online or in person so everyone can receive their
genres and the character, line of dialogue and a prop.
*Shoot in whichever location you have permission to shoot
in.
Cost: R1900 for the entire team (no restrictions on the number of team members). After the registration fee is paid all crew and cast must be volunteers.

NB: Only one person in the team will register and this would
be the team leader/producer.
They are in charge of putting the team together, ie the
crew, cast, locations, submitting the paperwork etc.
