Be part of something special! The KZNSA is creating a large-scale portrait mural at the KZNSA Gallery, and they need help to reach their goal of 100 photographic portraits to be wheatpasted onto the main gallery wall.
Join the KZNSA for a vibrant Portrait Party—bring your family, enjoy a drink, explore the exhibition, and sit for your photographic portrait made by some of Durban’s finest photographers and an international multimedia artist. Your edited portrait will be sent to you afterward, and your image will become part of this collaborative artwork.
The portrait party takes over two days:
Friday, February 28 from 12h00 to 16h00
Saturday, March 1 from 10h00 to 16h00
There’s no set fee, but any donation you make will go to KZNSA and the
production of this project. Let’s build this together—one portrait at a time!
Participating photographers:
Paige Furness, Paulo Menezes, Gift Banda, Niamh Walsh-Vorster, Roger
Jardine and Gabriela Valdespino.
With live entertainment from Vinyl & Vibes.
This is an initiative by the KZNSA Exhibition Sub-Committee in partnership with ArtsResearchLab and Contemporary Archive Project.
