The Gallery based in Ballito, presents a new exhibition titled Meraki, officially opened on February 6, 2025.
The Gallery is proud to present Meraki, an art exhibition showcasing a curated collection of works that embody the spirit of creativity, passion, and personal expression. The exhibition will run until March 30, 2025, and invites visitors to experience art created with love, soul, and intention.
The word "Meraki" is of Greek origin, meaning to do something with profound care and devotion, as though a piece of your soul is left behind in the work. This exhibition celebrates artists who pour their heart and energy into their creations, with each piece telling a unique story that reflects the essence of their makers. Whether it’s through brushstrokes, sculptural form, or mixed media, these artworks are imbued with the deep emotions, creativity, and dedication of the artists who created them.

Featured in the exhibition are works by both emerging and established artists, each of whom has embraced the concept of Meraki in their practice.
Visitors will be invited to explore how these works evoke personal narratives,
passions, and memories, leaving behind a visual legacy that connects the
artists' inner worlds with the viewer.
