ARTISTS OF AFRICA

Pan African Contemporary art exhibition to take place in Johannesburg in 2010.

The Artists of Africa, an official 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Host City Johannesburg Event, was recently launched by The City of Johannesburg and The Department of Arts and Culture.

This important Pan African Contemporary art exhibition will be hosted at Museum Africa, Newtown Johannesburg, from May 11 to July 11, 2010. Curators, artists, writers and poets will collaborate on this project in order to showcase the wealth of talent that emanates from the Continent of Africa to the enormous global audience that is focused on Africa during this period.

This exhibition will be promoted globally to people of all races, ages and cultures as it aims to educate and portray African art for what it is truly worth.
