4TH MASKANDI EXPERIENCE

Beyond Ideas hosts the Maskandi Experience as part of Celebrate Durban! This is a celebration of the maskandi genre itself, the performing artists thereof, their achievements and also how they continuously raise the bar and elevate the music. The Maskandi Legends Show not only benefits the Maskandi artists but also incepts traditional music to people of all age groups, in turn growing our culture and music. The Maskandi Experience further provides a platform for its patrons particularly the youth, to engage in their diversity and individual appeal, and pronounce clearly either through dress codes or dance cultures, what it means to be a Proud South African.
