The South African Society of Music Teachers will host their national conference in Durban from April 6 to 9 with special emphasis on piano.
Themed Instrumental Teaching, Performance & Entrepreneurship, the conference comprises three days and two evenings of workshops, lectures and concerts by highly-skilled performers and pedagogues.
Guest artists and speakers include Christopher Cockburn, Frelet de Villiers, Christopher Duigan, Francois du Toit, Liezl-Marét Jacobs, Gisela Scriba, Albie van Schalkwyk, Arisa Voges and Andrew Warburton.
The conference will take place at Durban Girls’ College, Musgrave Road, Durban.
