The Alliance Française de Durban will present MAD in FRENCH, a performance by Lise Garnier in its Garden area on March 11.
Lise Garnier studied trombone, classical guitar and lyrical chant. She likes to discover new instruments and includes them in her performances. She has been trained as a clown and practices contemporary dance and theatre. She also composes, writes and interprets her own productions. Lize Garnier has performed solo, in duos and trios at café concerts, street theatre festivals and travelling cabarets all across France. Cheeky and coquettish, with the attitude of a rock star, this multi-talented artist presents her own fantasy lyrics while interpreting French masters such as Jacques Brel, Claude Nougaro and Edith Piaf.
MAD in FRENCH takes place on March 11 at 19h00 (doors open at 18h30) in the Garden of the Alliance. Tickets R25 (free for members). More information on 031 312 9582.
