PAKI PELOEOLE

The Centre for Jazz & Popular Music, UKZN presents the South African percussionist and drummer Paki Peloeole on April 6. He will appear with Sakhile Simani (trumpet), Linda Sikhakhane (tenor saxophone), Neil Gonsalves (piano), Bernard Mndaweni (bass) and Madala Kunene (alumus).

Paki Peloeole was born in Taung in the North West Province and he studied music at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is in constant demand as a sideman on the South African jazz and theatre circuit and has appeared frequently at the Centre for Jazz & Popular Music, UKZN. The band he has put together promises the highest level of artistry, swing & interactivity.
