(Painting by Makiwa)This year the 8th annual Black Like US exhibition takes place at Manor Gallery, Norscot Centre, Fourways from August 7 to September 3. This promises to be an exciting exhibition with Sam Maduna, Edward Selematsela and Abe Mathabe (who have been with the group since inception ) exhibiting together with other newer Black Like Us artists including Makiwa, Nali Gama and Mind Shana . Sponsors for the exhibition are Herman Mashaba and Deutsche Bank.
Makiwa will be seen in KZN shortly as he has been invited to exhibit with three other major South African artists to exhibit at The Green Gallery in Mount Edgecombe
