Music Revival is to present two completely opposing but highly engaging musical worlds in one performance; beautifully fragile meditative contemporary piano and film music offset by blazing highlights from the recent Liszt vs. Liszt programmes 1 & 2.
Christopher Duigan combines these two contrasted musical worlds in an evening/afternoon performance, in a spellbinding musical journey. This includes music by Ludivico Einaudi, Richard Guinness and Michael Nyman’s The Piano soundtrack, together with Liszt’s La Campanella, Hungarian Rhapsodies, Sonetto 104 del Petrarca and Les jeux d'eau à la Villa d'Este.
Performances will take place on August 5 at 19h30 (tickets R100 Includes soup, gluhwein and coffee served from 19h00) and August 7 at 15h30 (tickets R90 Includes tea, coffee and scones served with jam and cream from 15h00).
