BENSON / ERASMUS WORKSHOP

A painting weekend workshop will be held at Bellevue Lodge on the South Coast with Anton Benzon and Diane Erasmus on October 14, 15 and 16.

The Workshop will start with a welcoming cup of tea, at 09h00, followed by a demo by Anton at 09h30. The workshop will continue on the irst two days until 16h00 but will close at 15h00 on the Sunday. Those wishing to have a crit on their painting/s are welcome to stay until 16h00.

Included in the workshop price is Tuition, Demonstrations, Teas and Coffees daily. Meals and other Beverages are for your own account. Bring your own art materials or buy some at the Workshop. These include an easel (either table or standing easel); palette (either a porcelain tile or a piece of thick glass with smooth edges); palette knife, brushes, and oil paints; apron or old shirt and old Sheet or cloth to throw on the floor under where you are working. Also required are containers for turps/water or medium, a sketch pad, charcoal and pencils (or whatever you like to sketch with)

Demonstrations will be done daily by Anton and Di. They will demonstrate Skies, Water, Mountains, Ocean, Flowers, Trees. The Workshop is mainly conducted in oils, but you may work in acrylic if you are more comfortable with that. It is advisable to bring acrylic for your underpainting but not essential.

The cost of the Workshop is R1,500 pp plus a facility fee of R50pp per day. A deposit of R500 is required to secure your place. This should be deposited into Standard Bank, Margate Branch No. 057-528, Account No: 053275268 in the name of Diane Erasmus Visual Art Studio.

No Deposit will be refunded if you cancel less than three weeks before the Workshop. Be sure to put your name and Workshop on the Deposit Slip or as a reference if you do an internet transfer.
