Dingalings fans can relax, your wait is over. This is the message from the popular group that has created Dings, Flings, Class of 85 and Chops Choons and Spano Dops.
The guys are back in town having just had a successful run at Suncoast’s Supernova Theatre. This time their antics land them in hot water with the law. An 'innocent' boys’ night out ends with the five being bundled off to jail. Here they face the wrath of a Judge with no patience for their antics, resulting in a well-deserved community service sentence. With gusto in typical Dingalings style, they embark on recreating and celebrating Durban’s Music Greats from the tunes that reverberated in Island Hotel, to the vibe of Paradise.
Audiences can expect the usual off the wall comedy, as well as a trip back in time with old familiar tunes that formed the catalyst for many a romance. The show features the tried and tested Dingaling team: Henry Ramkissoon, Senzo Mthethwa, Koobeshen Naidoo, Ravi Soobramoney and newcomer Melvyn David.
Bust(s) is directed by Kumseela Naidoo and produced by Yugan Naidoo. It runs at the Catalina Theatre at Wilsons Wharf from May 8 to 17. Enquiries to dingalingsproductions@gmail.com
