KZNYO AT ESSENWOOD

The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Orchestra will celebrate Youth Day with a performance "for the youth by the youth" at the Essenwood Market, in collaboration with KZN Department of Arts and Culture.

There will be two performances between 10h00 and 14h00, and in between the public will have the opportunity of talking to orchestra members, finding out about orchestra opportunities, and listening to talented individual members busking. The orchestra will be conducted by Lyk Temmingh, Cathy Peacock and Lindsay Johnston, and will present a varied programme of music which includes both classical works and more modern pieces.
