M-Net Movies
Premiere Channel 103 is your first stop for all first time on TV blockbusters. Every
Friday from 18h30, the channel offers four new blockbusters every Friday
starting at 18h30 with the biggest blockbuster on Sundays (shared with sister
channel M-Net, half an hour later at 20h30).
January 18 at 18h30:
Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011) directed by Robert Rodriguez and
starring Jessica Alba and Jeremy Piven. A retired spy is called back into
action to stop a maniacal man from taking over the planet. She recruits her two
step-kids to help in her quest in an effort to bond with them.
January 18 at 20h30:
Immortals (War Of Gods) (2011)
directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Henry Cavill and Mickey Rourke. A humble
stonemason becomes the only hope in ending the bloody reign of a brutal King
determined to overthrow the Gods of Olympus. He bands together a small group of
men and battles to save humanity.
January 18 at 22h30:
The Darkest Hour (2011) directed by
Chris Gorak and starring Emile Hirsch and Olivia Thirlby. A group of Americans
in Moscow find themselves battling to stay alive after the city comes under
siege. They come to learn that aliens are using the planet’s power supply to
annihilate mankind.
January 18 at 00h30:
Passion Play (2010) directed by Mitch
Glazer and starring Mickey Rourke and Megan Fox. A trumpet player encounters a
beautiful angel at a carnival. With a mob boss out for his blood, he offers her
to him as a peace offering, but soon changes his mind and tries to protect her
from him.
The Sunday Night
Premieres slot will feature Marvel’s The Avengers(2012) on January 20
at 20h30 directed by Joss Whedon and starring Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans.
When Loki threatens the safety of the globe, the newly formed Avengers are
tasked with fighting the threat. They must get over their differences and work
as a team to defeat Loki’s army.
