Mentalist IV (Sundays
at 22h30): The drama series is about Patrick Jane, an independent
consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has a
remarkable track record for using his razor-sharp skills of observation and
psychological manipulation to solve serious crimes. Within the Bureau, Jane is
notorious for his blatant lack of protocol and his semi-celebrity past as a
psychic medium, whose paranormal abilities he now admits he feigned. No-nonsense
CBI senior agent Teresa Lisbon was initially reluctant to accept Jane into her
unit. However, though she occasionally reprimands him for his theatrics and
lack of boundaries, she acknowledges Jane's usefulness and finds him
intriguing.
Newsroom I (starts
January 27 at 19h30) follows the quixotic mission of a staff dedicated to doing
the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles and tangled
personal relationships.
Royal Pains III (starts
January 20 at 18h30). In the exciting fourth season of Royal Pains, Dr. Hank Lawson embarks on a fresh start with his
medical practice and separates from his brother, Evan, who also starts his own
venture. As Divya attempts to reconcile the brothers, HankMed teams up once
more in the face of a Hamptons' emergency.
