The Brenda Hunter School of Ballet will be
presenting an adaptation of The Lion, the
Witch and the Wardrobe by C S Lewis, in the Hexagon Theatre.
More than 90 pupils aged 4 to 18 who are
being trained in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet, will be taking part. The
Senior Advanced One and Two participants have all been Cecchetti KZN Gala
Performance qualifiers over the past two years.
Taryn van Wyk won the KZN Intermediate
Trophy in 2012, and Nosimo Madlala and Jordyn Toohey passed their Advanced One
exam with Distinction. Nosimo and Jordyn have choreographed one of the dances
in the production.
The
Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe runs at the Hexagon Theatre on March 2 at 15h00 and
