From March 6 to 16, Artisan will be showcasing paintings by Jannie van Heerden who for many years was Subject Adviser for Art. During this time he travelled KZN, deep into the most rural areas, and his powerful oil paintings of the landscapes are saturated with colour and atmosphere. Jannie is also an international expert on Zulu basketry.
Artisan is currently hosting its annual
sale of up to 40% off certain stock, which will run until March 23. This
enables art lovers to acquire that piece they have been eyeing, as well as an
opportunity to stock up on a few gifts. Ceramics by Hennie Meyer, Clementina
Van der Walt, Heather Mills and John Newdigate are among the works on sale, as
well as a good selection of other ceramics, woodwork and paintings.
