Baroque 2000's 2013 season in its 15th
anniversary year begins with a concert on April 21 at the orchestra's home, the
attractive and acoustically superb Church of the Monastery Mariannhill.
The great Baroque masters Bach and Handel
are represented by their Overture no 1 in C, and Concerto Grosso op 3 no 2
respectively, and the other works are Albinoni's Concerto a Cinque op 9 no 3,
and Johann Joseph Fux's Overture K355.
The concert takes place at 15h00 on on April
21 at the Church of the Monastery Mariannhill. Tickets R90 at the door, and
subscriptions for the eight-concert series (with reserved seat) are available
at R720.
