Organ music lovers will be treated to a
pipe organ lunch hour concert at Emmanuel Cathedral on April 17. This year’s
programme marks 101 years of the existence of the Emmanuel cathedral pipe
organ.
Fr. Scott Davidson, prominent organist from
Cedara, will share the lunch hour concert with three young organists from
different parishes around Durban - namely Siyabonga Gumbi ( Emmanuel
Cathedral), Senzo Vezi from Kwa-Kristo Umsindisi (KwaMashu) and Sanele Mkhize
from Sacred Heart (Montclair). The
concert will also feature Qiniso Zuma (opera student from UKZN).
The lunch-hour recital takes place on April
