The Theatre-St Anne’s College will present
The White Collar Club on April 19.
The White Collar Club is a collective of
gentlemen from various corners of the globe who perform together as a
vocal group. Having each performed to thousands of fans across hundreds of
stages, and supporting top international vocal artists on tour, every member
was handpicked to form a vocal collaboration under a new umbrella. By bringing
the best from wildly different backgrounds together, a unique blend of sound
has been created, rich in flavour and harmony.
Members have performed with some of the
most respected artists in South Africa, such as Goldfish, Freshlyground, Prime
Circle and Vusi Mahlasela, to name a few. More recently selected members
performed alongside the Grammy Award-winning Imogen Heap, and with Josh Groban,
on their respective 2011 tours.
White Collar Club recently recorded their
debut album of both original and covered material, scheduled to launch in May
2013. Their distinctive song writing, coupled with high-energy performance, has
resulted in sold-out shows, awards, and high acclaim nationwide.
Their approach to the music they cover is
completely unique, and by adding their own musical flavour, they challenge
people’s expectations of vocal performance. Don’t miss this opportunity to
