In the theatre world, the term "The
House" refers to the auditorium where an audience is seated to enjoy a
performance. From this position, the public is usually unaware of any mistakes,
disasters or near-misses that might be occurring before their very eyes!
Occasionally, an audience would have to be blind not to notice things unravelling
in front of them! This is part of the thrill of live performance and certainly
makes for some very amusing tales.
Two of Durban's most popular entertainers
are together for just three exclusive performances at three private homes with
an evening of delightful anecdotes from shows that they have either witnessed
or been in over the years. These tales of the theatre are interspersed with
selection of songs from these shows. A delightful evening of entertainment old
and new, borrowed and blue!
