Baroque 2000 resume their 2013 season with a concert at the acoustically superb and attractively situated Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill, on August 25.

Returning after a two-month break during which some of the musicians have been on tour to Johannesburg, Grahamstown and France, and continuing to search out music never before heard in Durban, the ensemble will present Vivaldi's Concerto in C RV116, Geminiani's Concerto op 3 in C, Locatelli's Sinfonia Funebre in F minor, Corelli's Concerto Grosso op 6 no 7, and an anonymous Overture.

The fourth concert of the Series will take place on August 25 at 15h00 in the Church of the Mariannhill Monastery. Tickets R90 at the door and there is ample safe parking. Enquiries to Michel on 082 303 5241 or email:
