Directed by Themi Venturas, the 13th annual PANSA Rainbow
Young Performers Production for 2014 is Footloose
– which reunites Daisy Spencer (choreographer) and Des Govender (vocal coach),
the team that presented Hairspray and
Legally Blonde.
The production team is looking for 30 talented young
performers from KZN and Footloose has
approximately 13 parts for males and 14 parts for females. Musicians will also
be required to make up the ‘live’ band.
Applicants requirements:
-able to sing, dance and act
-available for rehearsal every weekend from May 16 to June 22,
2014
-previews and performances are from June 28 to July 13, 2014.
-available for the whole audition to qualify
-must wear comfortable clothing / gym gear and appropriate
footwear
-must bring their own refreshments – water / juice and lunch
-must be prepared to wait between calls
Auditions will take place on April 26 from 09h00 to 17h00 at
